Only a few days ago, many celebrities were flocking to the Hôtel Particulier d’Iéna, in Paris, at the invitation of the famous Zadig & Voltaire house.
It featured the famous Virginie Ledoyen, Ludivine Sagnier, Malgosia Bela… A whole host of celebrities to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new fragrances. This fiery evening, embellished with a tattoo stand and karaoke entertainment, was the opportunity for Zadig & Voltaire to present to the public its two new scented essences for the start of September, This Is Her and This Is Him. For once, how about knowing a little more about this new masculine fragrance?
The scent of the new Zadig & Voltaire
This Is Him by Zadig & Voltaire is due out on September 1st. This essence will be launched worldwide and its announcement has just been made that it is already a lot of talk. This Is Him was developed in collaboration with Beauté Prestige Internationale, a company with which the brand signed a 15-year license agreement in 2014. Also, it is to two talented perfumers that we owe this new fragrance. This Is Him was designed by Nathalie Lorson and Aurélien Guichard from Firmenich. For the moment, relatively little information has filtered out as to the composition of this new gasoline. We know, however, that it will be a fairly rock juice, a classic for the Zadig & Voltaire brand, and not lacking in character. The This Is Him man knows what he wants and it shows in his scent. As such, this essence contains incense. This resin gives the whole a fresh, camphoric and waxy smell. Here it is accompanied by black pepper for even more impertinence. Nevertheless, vanilla helps to soften the whole with its sweet and warm scent.
The aesthetic of This Is Him
On the bottle side, This Is Him doesn’t shy away from its rock ‘n’ roll side either.. Indeed, it is nestled in a rectangular case similar to a solid block of glass. For the occasion, this monolith is adorned with an opaque black. Like a rough stone, it has a broken-looking sidewall for a modern and slightly sassy look. Likewise, This Is Him will be a perfume embodied on television for the first time. Moreover, we already know who will be the face of this essence. Zadig & Voltaire entrusted this heavy task to top model Sam Lammar. This handsome brunette has enough to capsize the hearts of many women and his nonchalant side suits him perfectly. He will be accompanied here by the young model Joséphine Le Tutor. We will therefore have the pleasure of seeing the couple partying in the heart of Paris, to lively music signed by The Avener.
