The first Lolita fragrance, a treat on the skin

Josiane Maryse Pividal founded her fashion house, Lolita Lempicka in 1983. In 1984, Lolita Lempick opened her boutique in the heart of the Parisian marshes. Then, in 1986, she presented her first collection “Lolita Bis”, a collection intended for young girls. Her pseudonym “Lolita Lempicka” was chosen as a tribute to Vladimir Nabokov’s novel entitled “Lolita”, as well as to Tamara de Lempicka, a painter she admires. Initially, the fashion house was essentially a family business where she worked with her husband, then with her 3 daughters. It was in 1997 that she released her first fragrance “Le premier parfum Lolita”.

The first Lolita fragrance, like a forbidden fruit

“The first Lolita fragrance” embodies the complexity of femininity . It explores all the facets of a woman’s personality and its fragrance combines softness, strength, sensitivity and beauty. On this subject, Lolita Lempicka explains “I invented my first perfume by drawing on my most distant memories to restore the intense moment when the child waits to be a woman… To the child, I offered the flavor, the woman, the flower… This is how the intoxicating nectar of liquorice was born ”…

If Lolita Lempicka wanted to give her name to her first perfume, it is also to offer a part of her intimacy. Therefore, we can say that “Lolita’s first perfume” is a very personal essence. Thanks to its fantasy and its gluttony, “The first Lolita perfume” transports us, moreover, to a fairy-tale, magical world, where the apple then appears as a forbidden fruit. Forbidden, of course, but so tempting!

The first Lolita perfume, forbidden notes

The talented Annick Ménardo was chosen to develop “The first Lolita fragrance”. This is defined as a flowery and gourmet oriental. “The first Lolita perfume” begins with the innocence and freshness of youth.

Star anise seeds thus mingle with very fresh notes of pineapple and lemon. These are then enhanced by the berries of roses. The heart is very floral, but also ultra greedy, because it combines jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, iris and liquorice. The base plays both on the sweetness of violet and on the captivating side of incense. These two notes are also associated with vanilla, tonka bean, almond and heliotrope. As for the bottle, it plunges us into the magical world of Lolita Lempicka. In the shape of a rounded apple, it symbolizes the forbidden fruit par excellence, and takes us to the Garden of Eden. Purple in color, the bottle is adorned with gold-colored ivy leaves, thus representing eternal love. On the cabochon in the shape of an apple tail,

“The first Lolita perfume” is an ultra gourmet essence , which we love and which we cannot do without. In memory of her childhood, Lolita Lempicka offers us a joyful, mischievous and delicious fragrance. Shaped like a candy apple, the bottle juggles between carelessness, naivety, love and forbidden fruit… A great success for a first perfume.
