In 1934, Caron created a masculine fragrance called “Pour un Homme”. The concept was then very innovative. Indeed, you should know that at that time perfumery was an exclusively male domain. These gentlemen, for their part, used Eau de Cologne. Thus, the release of “Pour un Homme” made a lot of talk about her. So here we are 80 years later and yet, the latter has not aged a bit. It is one of its essences which seem timeless to us. However, “Pour un Homme Sport” gives it a touch of modernity and breathes a breath of freshness on the latter. Thus, it retains its aromatic signature and adds citrus fruits, spices and a slightly more woody side. Its top notes are fresh and sparkling. We immediately notice its scent of grapefruit and green mandarin. This gives it a lot of dynamism. To this is added Verbena from India as well as Green Lavender Absolute from France. Then, Blue Ginger from Madagascar and Nutmeg from Indonesia further enhance the freshness. Finally, Virginia Cedar gives it its woody sweetness and Tonka Bean accentuates its warmth and sensuality. Then come Benzoin from Siam, White Musks, and Natural Ambergris Infusion which end up sublimating the whole and offers us a complex but perfectly balanced juice.
