Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb returns in a Swarovski Edition
Viktor & Rolf is a fashion house of Dutch origin and founded in 1993. The latter is famous for its Haute Couture collections as well as for its perfumes. Each of his creations takes us into a particularly refined but also quirky universe. Swarovski, for its part, is a brand of crystal components, both creator of jewelry but also service provider for the entire fashion industry. Also, on the occasion of the 2016 end-of-year celebrations, these two prestigious brands have decided to join forces to create the new Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski.
Swarovski and Viktor & Rolf, a long history
Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski is not the first creation to be signed by these two creative entities. Indeed, over the years, Viktor & Rolf and Swarovski have developed the habit of working together. Swarovski thus creates numerous jewels for the Viktor & Rolf brand, but not only… Each year, it reinterprets one of the greatest fragrances of the Viktor & Rolf brand. Swarovski’s mission is to sublimate their bottle. Moreover, Flowerbomb had already been revisited in 2014 in a particularly luxurious version. Flowerbomb Deluxe was thus decorated with 2,900 crystals with black reflections and was delivered in a leather case signed Viktor & Rolf. Likewise, a year later, in 2015, Bonbom also unveiled its limited edition. Its magical bottle was covered with multiple lines of small Swarovski crystals. The latter then followed the sculpted lines of his glass to perfection. This only amplified the unparalleled know-how at the origin of this exceptional bottle. Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski therefore appears to be the perfect continuation of this collaboration.
The dazzling Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski
Formerly decorated with black crystals, Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski is revealed this time in much clearer and more feminine tones. Swarovski crystals draw on its walls a multitude of corollas similar to flower petals. Thus, this design directly echoes the flavor it contains. Everything is available in a very feminine color made of white and pink. On the scent side, on the other hand, Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski has not transformed its flavor of the past. This one is at the same time floral, seductive and delicious. Flowerbomb Edition Swarovski opens with a sparkling and vitalizing accord of bergamot and tea. Her heart, meanwhile, is like a huge bouquet of flowers. This combines sambac jasmine, orange blossom, freesia, orchid and rose. Finally, the whole warms up little by little until it reaches amber base notes based on patchouli and musk. The whole thing becomes absolutely carnal, almost erotic and madly sensual. This olfactory composition is the work of four perfumers, namely Carlos Benaïm, Dominique Ropion, Olivier Polge and Domitille Bertier.
